1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a stay or activity with Jedi Surf Camp Gerupuk, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

2. Booking & Payments

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. The balance must be paid according to your booking confirmation.

  • Payments may be made in EUR or IDR. For IDR payments, Wise or local bank transfer is accepted. Guests are responsible for transaction and conversion fees.

  • All packages are priced in EUR; IDR amounts are for reference only. Final payment is calculated based on current exchange rates.

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM

  • Check-out: By 11:00 AM. Late check-out subject to availability; unapproved late check-outs will incur a full night’s charge.

3. Participation Requirements

  • Minimum age: 16 years for surf activities.

  • Guests must be fit and able to swim.

  • Jedi Surf Camp Gerupuk reserves the right to refuse participation if safety is at risk.

  • Accommodation is not suitable for small children under 12 years.

4. Rebooking & Cancellation Policy

  • Rebooking fee: Changes are subject to availability. If new dates are unavailable, the cancellation policy applies. The new booking date must be within 6 months of the original reservation. Rebooking fee EUR 50

  • Cancellation refunds for room only bookings:

    • 30+ days before arrival → 50% refund

    • Less than 30 days or during stay → No refund

  • No refund for early departure or once checked in.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after approval.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, or unforeseen events.

5. Management’s Right to Refuse Service

Management reserves the right to refuse service or cancel bookings at any time. In such cases, guests will be compensated for unused portions of their booking, but Jedi Surf Camp is not responsible for additional expenses such as flights, visas, or transport.

6. Risk Acknowledgement

Surfing and water-based activities carry inherent risks. By booking, you accept these risks. Jedi Surf Camp is not liable for accidents, injuries, or death. Clinics in Kuta and hospitals in Mataram provide medical care, but guests must ensure they have valid medical insurance.

7. Loss, Damages & Injuries

  • Jedi Surf Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

  • Guests are financially liable for damages caused to rooms, equipment, or property due to neglect or misuse.

  • Vehicle rentals (cars, scooters, motorbikes) are arranged through third parties. Jedi Surf Camp is not liable for accidents, injuries, or vehicle quality. Always inspect vehicles before renting.

8. Lost & Found Policy

  • Guests are responsible for their belongings.

  • Guests should lock all doors and windows when leaving the room and while sleeping.

  • Shipping costs for returning lost items are at the guest’s expense.

  • Unclaimed items will be donated or disposed of responsibly.

9. Surf Conditions

We will do our best to find suitable surf spots daily. However, poor conditions or low-quality waves may occur and are beyond our control. These circumstances are not grounds for refunds.

10. Force Majeure

Jedi Surf Camp is not liable for cancellations, interruptions, or damages caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or utility outages. Temporary interruptions do not entitle guests to refunds. Guests must have travel insurance that covers such events.

11. Complaints

Any issues must be reported immediately to staff so we can resolve them. Complaints not resolved during your stay must be submitted in writing within 7 days of departure. Claims received after this period will not be accepted.

12. Surfboards

  • We offer optional surfboard ding insurance for IDR 250,000 (non-refundable), covering minor damages during your stay but excluding snapped boards. Board insurance only covers your own board – if there is damage to another surfer’s board in the water, this is not covered by us.

  • A good travel insurance policy will also be able to reimburse you for a snapped board – just another reason to be sure you get that insurance prior to your trip.

  • Snapped boards may incur full replacement costs.

  • Surfboard use is only permitted during supervised surf sessions provided by Jedi Surf.

  • In disputes, internationally recognized surfer priority rules will apply.

  • Guests must treat surfboards with care; negligence may result in additional charges.

  • Please let us know before the surf camp starts if you would like to book it. It will be not possible to add as soon as the surfing session started.

13. Guest Conduct

  • Guests must follow surf etiquette, staff instructions, and safety guidelines.

  • Unsafe, disrespectful, or irresponsible behavior may result in exclusion from activities without refund.

14. Travel Documents & Health Requirements

Guests are responsible for valid passports (minimum 8 months validity and at least 2 empty pages), visas, vaccinations, and health documentation required by Indonesia. Failure to comply may result in refusal or cancellation without refund.
